REIKI

Physics has proven that more than 99.99% of what we see in this 3D material world is energy. When we touch something, the sensation of touching is not what we think it is. Matter never really touches matter…..what we feel is an electrical charge of two energy fields bumping up against each other. Everything is energy moving vibrationally in the Unified Field. In Japanese characters, “REI” means “Universal and All Encompassing” and “KI” means “Life Force Energy”. The slower one’s life force energy vibrates or the more restricted it is in its flow, the more one is vulnerable to illness. Trauma and negative emotions such as anger, fear, guilt or jealousy can block or slow down that flow.

Reiki clears and balances, by transferring a higher vibration of Universal Energy through a receiver. Reiki flows freely and is not controlled by the practitioner; it flows through a person’s energy pathways, meridians and chakras, to promote healing. This ancient healing modality using human touch was rediscovered and renamed Reiki in the 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui who spent 40 days in isolation in nature. It has aided the healing process of many known injuries and illnesses of people all over the world and today is used in many metropolitan hospitals daily on patients.

Everyone can benefit from a Reiki healing session. The Reiki energy flows through disturbed or blocked areas within the organs and tissues of the body, allowing them to improve their functions. Reiki heals by charging them with positive energy and raising the vibration levels of the energy field in and around the body. A Reiki session is very calming and nurturing and often receivers will find themselves falling into a deep meditative state. Reiki is safe and non-invasive and goes where it is needed. The amount of healing energy transferred is directly related to two things: the practitioners’ and the receivers’ intention for healing and their openness to the frequency or vibration of love.

LOVE . LOVE . LOVE . LOVE

PEACE . PEACE . PEACE

How does a REIKI session work?

Reiki is passed on to the client through a gentle healing touch. The receiver lies fully clothed on a therapeutic table or is seated in a chair while the practitioner softly places his or her still hands on the head, shoulders, neck, upper chest, stomach, legs and feet of the receiver. The practitioner will also place his or her hands 4 inches above the energy centers of the heart and sacral regions as the energy flows in to nourish the organs and cells of the body. A personal note on the designation of "MASTER"

Though I hold a Master Teacher Certificate and am able to pass on the attunements for Reiki, I would neither consider myself nor any other practitioner a "Reiki Master" because I feel that Reiki is not something one could be a "Master" at. We are humble vessels for this divine, powerful and intelligent Source energy. We are servants of this modality and though we may teach others how to use it, we will always remain students of it. I am so grateful to my teachers....Joan Costello, Michael McGillvary and Lil Bear a.k.a. Sandy Gardner. And I am so grateful to all of the angels and beings who have assisted me in my work to bring peace and comfort to others. Finally, I am grateful to all of the people who have requested my services...it is always an honor to help you.

Namaste
