In November of 2007 I had a Reconnection Healing Session during which three angels to appeared to me. They were as clear as day standing at the foot of the treatment table I lay upon. The one in the center held a small peach colored Christmas tree ornament from the dream I had in 1999 which started my painting angels. He asked me, "Do you remember the dream?" and I replied "yes!", then he asked "Do you remember your original intention when you had the dream?" and I replied "yes, I was going to paint really large paintings of angels who looked right into the viewers eyes!" He said so gently and lovingly "ah-uh...." Then they showed me a movie like vision of the previous eight years since the dream in 1999 in which I could see snippets of things people had said to me and the resistance, fear and doubt I had allowed to stop and deter me along the winding way. Next they showed me a new studio with large windows and high ceilings...they showed me large paintings from which emerged angels stepping off the canvas. They said "we have given you everything you need to paint like the Masters" and I thought of the books I had purchased three months ago on painting the human figure. I moaned..."my own studio?, Mark (my then husband) is not going to like this!", and he replied "You must tell Mark about this vision and tell him not to worry, we will take care of everything." And so it was....I felt drawn to approach South Cape Village and asked to use one of the empty spaces to paint the project and I ended up with my own studio which opened in April of 2008. It took me 3 years to paint three pieces as I tried to balance owning a retail space and paying the bills with having the creative space I needed to paint. Today I am still looking for a place to complete this amazing portal project. My goal is to paint 12 paintings...of 6 male and 6 female Angels representing the diversity of humans, each bearing a gift for humanity..

"The Angel Of Hope"

Two days before the scheduled photo shoot for "The First Angel" I was cleaning my kitchen and something prompted me to sit in the living room...I did so closing my eyes and immediately had a vision of Egyptian solid gold wings about 10' in length outstretched and inlaid with semi-precious stones. The wings parted from the center and there was a gorgeous female angel with blonde curls piled on her head. She hovered before me suspended in space. Her white wings and shoulders were dusted with shimmering gold powder and she held a white rose. She said "I am Hope; hope always comes first and is everlasting in the heart of man." She was radiant and so full of such perfect love and grace. I was stunned by the vision, I did not know how much direct guidance I would be receiving throughout the project, and was thrilled a deeply honored to have her assistance. The photos for "Hope" and "Knowledge" were taken on Good Friday by David Kelley and the process was filmed by Joe Griffen .....there were eight of us there in the FCTV studio and we all felt the beautiful energy of the presence of angels watching the start of something very beautiful.

My daughter Rachel modeled for "The Angel of Hope" Photo by David Kelley, dress by My Fair Lady To Right - painting in progress, 8' x 4' Acrylic Painting about half way completed. This first painting took months to complete. I spent a lot of time repainting the wings....i researched other artists renderings and countless photos of birds and finally came up with a unique style that i have not seen before.....i love the way it feels as though her heart is expanding through the lines of the wings. I used acrylic paint on masonite board. I have sketched out faux stone archways to be made out of compressed foam for each piece. The final touches are stars in the darkness behind her and gold accents to her hair, wings and shoulders. She is now the official greeter in the Angel Room and for those brave enough to look deeply into her eyes, she opens a doorway to divine love and grace.
